Nicholas Capman

President and Chief Executive Officer

Nicholas has led the company since December 2006, building an award-winning firm that helps life science organizations access top-tier consultants, contractors, and candidates across all stages of the product lifecycle. With a strong background in quality, compliance, regulatory affairs, clinical research, validation, and enterprise-wide software, Nicholas is recognized for his expertise and successful history in the FDA-regulated industry.

A member of Vistage Worldwide, Inc. since 2014, Nicholas holds an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst and a BA in History, Education, and Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His commitment to education and community is reflected in his volunteer work as a judge for the Massachusetts State Science & Engineering Fair and the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship.

Nicholas recently published "The Passionate Workforce," which quickly became an Amazon Best Seller. The book focuses on creating and maintaining employee engagement and has received praise for its insightful strategies.


Matt Garrett

Chief Financial Officer

With over 20 years of experience in the accounting industry, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and exceptional service to his role. In addition to his position at The FDA Group, Matt is the CEO and Founder of TGG Accounting, specializing in small business accounting, taxes, bookkeeping, payroll services, and more.

Matt's entrepreneurial journey began in college when he started his first business. He went on to build and sell multiple businesses, realizing the critical importance of accurate accounting for business success. This realization led him to create TGG Accounting, aiming to provide small businesses with the high-quality financial reporting typically available only to large corporations.

Alan Greathouse

Head of Quality and Service Assurance

Alan has an over 20-year track record of success working with pharmaceutical, medical device, and biologic organizations ranging from startups to large-scale manufacturers. In his current role, Alan oversees consulting and contract staffing operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service for The FDA Group's clients. His extensive background in CGMP manufacturing, particularly in parenteral drug products, has equipped him with the skills to optimize manufacturing processes and correct operational inefficiencies.

Before joining The FDA Group, Alan held various leadership positions, including Principal Consultant at EG Life Sciences and Lyophilization Subject Matter Expert at Sanofi Pasteur. He has also served in leadership positions at Fresenius Kabi, Bayer HealthCare and Boehringer Ingelheim, where he demonstrated his ability to lead teams, meet tight schedules, and maintain product quality.

Tara Webb

Senior Director of Account Management 

With over 20 years of experience in the life science industry, Tara has supported clients across multiple business units, demonstrating her passion for making a difference in startup and smaller organizations. Tara has played a pivotal role in business development and account management, leveraging her extensive industry knowledge and dedication to client success.

Tara holds an MS in Organizational Leadership and Administration and a BA in Health Care Administration from Concordia University Ann Arbor. Her expertise in life sciences and sales operations is well-recognized, earning endorsements from colleagues and clients alike.

Sam Swiech

Head of Marketing

With over ten years of experience in marketing communications and lead generation, Sam manages The FDA Group's content and other marketing programs, including publishing original research, guides, white papers, webinars, and the Insider Newsletter.

Sam works closely with subject matter experts across The FDA Group’s global network to transform their ideas and perspectives into compelling, valuable content to share with an industry in search of expert insights.

Since 2015, he and his team at Madison Marketing Group have cultivated The FDA Group’s online presence and created a sustainable inbound marketing program to fuel its business growth. This program has enabled The FDA Group to grow organically, attracting teams in search of expert guidance and solutions across a range of service areas.

Jason Henson

Head of Audit Project Management

Jason brings over 20 years of diverse experience in project management across multiple industries, including the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device sectors, with additional experience in healthcare, IT, logistics, accounting, and robotics.

Jason is pivotal in driving our projects to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results for each of our audit clients. His role involves managing business relationships, overseeing customer interactions, and implementing process improvements.

Jason's extensive background in recruitment and talent acquisition has equipped him with the skills to identify exceptional candidates, partner with senior executives, and effectively lead technical implementations.

Susannah Rogers

Head of Administrative Operations

Since joining The FDA Group in 2020, Susannah has been instrumental in executive administrative assistance, presentation management, and confidentiality maintenance. Her extensive skill set includes administrative assistance, travel arrangements, interpersonal communication, and executive calendar management.

Susannah coordinates travel arrangements, handles incoming communications, and ensures our leadership team operates efficiently and effectively. Susannah's dedication to maintaining high standards of performance and confidentiality, along with her strong interpersonal communication skills, makes her an indispensable asset to The FDA Group, ensuring operational success and efficiency across the organization.
